The Regina Police Service (RPS) is asking the public for its help identifying two suspects who allegedly assaulted a teen in north Regina late last week. At around 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 18, officers were called to the 5200 block of Rochdale Boulevard for an assault in progress. The caller told police a boy was being assaulted by two other teen boys – who proceeded to run away from the scene. School resource officers in the area responded within minutes and found the 14-year-old victim. He was taken to hospital by family members with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries. An investigation is underway into the assault. Regina police ask anyone who may information on the suspects or the incident itself to contact police or Regina Crime Stoppers.
