A man who had a federal warrant issued for his arrest has been captured by police in Barrie. On Tuesday, the Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad announced they were looking for 42-year-old Bradley Elliott. Elliott had gone “unlawfully large” on Aug. 24. He is accused of breaching his statutory release. Authorities said he was known to frequent Barrie, Wasaga Beach, Alliston, Bradford, Collingwood and the Greater Toronto Area. On Friday, he was arrested by Barrie police officers. Police tell CTV News they received information leading them to Elliott’s whereabouts. He was arrested at an address on Ross Street and taken into custody without incident. Before his most recent arrest, Elliot was serving a sentence of four years and one month for a number of offences, including assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon, motor vehicle theft and personating a peace officer.
