An investigation is underway following a house fire in the 2000 block of Elliott Street on Sunday.

Investigation is underway following a house fire in the 2000 block of Elliott Street on Sunday.

Crews were called to a home at 1:34 p.m. where there were heavy smoke and fire conditions upon arrival, according to an X post from Regina Fire and Protective Services (RFPS) on Sunday.

The fire was quickly brought under control.

According to the post, a bystander removed one occupant prior to the arrival of fire crews and was being treated by EMS for minor injuries.

RFPS did not provide the condition of the occupant who was taken out of the house by the bystander.
