After missing two of his three attempted field goals during the Labour Day Classic, kicker Alex Hale will not be playing this weekend. Dawson Hodge will be taking over kicking duties for the Green and White for their second faceoff against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Saturday. The Banjo Bowl will be Hodge’s first regular season game in the CFL. The 24-year-old from Coquitlam, B.C. played in pre-season games for Saskatchewan and Calgary where he made all his field goal attempts. Global kicker Alex Hale’s track record has been inconsistent to say the least. In his 12 games with the Riders, he’s made just 75 per cent of his field goals. Kickoff for Saturday’s game is 2 p.m.
