A 63-year-old woman who went missing over the weekend from North York has been located, according to Toronto police. Police say she was last seen on Aug. 8 in the Victoria Village neighbourhood, near Eglinton Avenue East and Bermondsey Road, just west of Victoria Park Avenue. In an update shortly before noon on Wednesday, investigators said the woman has been located. She was taken to hospital for assessment, they said. On Tuesday, police announced a Level 1 priority search for the missing woman, setting up a set up a command post and canvassing the area where she was last seen. Investigator also asked nearby residents “to check your garages, sheds, or any other outbuildings that may be able to conceal someone who is confused and missing,” Duty Insp. Jonathan Rose told reporters Tuesday.
