A man accused of urinating on a Durham police cruiser and damaging it in Beaverton has been arrested. The alleged incident happened on the evening of Sept. 12 at a community centre near Simcoe and Main streets. In addition to allegedly urinating on the driver’s side door of the cruiser, the suspect also damaged its windshield wipers, police said. He shortly fled the area. After releasing images of the suspect, police were able to identify him and take him into custody on Wednesday. He has been identified as 29-year-old Christopher Alexander Lewicki of Brock Township. He has been charged with mischief causing property damage under $5,000. Police said he was released on an undertaking.
