Mounties in Coquitlam are asking drivers to check their dash camera video after what they describe as a “targeted shooting” occurred over the weekend. In a news release Tuesday, Coquitlam RCMP asked for video from the 100 block of Schoolhouse Street between 7 and 9 p.m. on Saturday. A police spokesperson told CTV News one person suffered minor injuries in the incident. “While investigators have determined this incident is targeted and there’s no ongoing risk to the public, the motive remains under investigation,” Mounties wrote. “In order to protect the integrity of the investigation, no further information will be released at this time.” The detachment said video that may seem uneventful or unrelated could still be helpful in the investigation and asked anyone who has it to call the detachment at 604-945-1550.
