A cyclist was hospitalized after colliding with a vehicle in South Surrey on Saturday afternoon, police say. Surrey Police Service officers responded to the intersection of 154 Street and 24 Avenue at around 2 p.m. Police say the cyclist was transported to hospital, and the driver of the vehicle remained on scene after the collision. According to Staff Sgt. Lindsey Houghton, the cyclist’s injuries remain unknown, but they were conscious while receiving treatment when she was last updated. Houghton says the cause of the collision remains under investigation.
