Police in Surrey are investigating after shots were fired on a Surrey property, damaging an outbuilding. Officers were called to the scene near 76 Avenue and 124 Street around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday after a homeowner reported “gunshot damage,” the Surrey Police Service said in a statement. “SPS frontline officers responded and confirmed that damage to the exterior of the outbuilding was caused by gunfire and that no one was injured,” police said. “At this time, it is unknown if this incident is extortion related.” Anyone with information or video that could assist with the investigation is urged to call 604-599-0502 and quote file number 26-85351 (SP).
