Ottawa police are investigating a shooting that occurred in Vanier last week. According to a news release from police, officers responded to reports of multiple gunshots at a residence on Belisle Street around 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 5. On Aug. 5, Ottawa paramedics told CTV News Ottawa they treated a teenaged male for a gunshot wound, and that he was taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition. Police say his injuries are not considered life threatening. Police say they believe this was a targeted incident. Currently, no suspects are in custody.
