Enbridge has donated $20,000 to Amherstburg’s River Lights Winter Festival’s 20th anniversary opening night. Enbridge will present a cheque on Monday. The festival officially begins on Nov. 14, featuring the municipal tree lighting, free hot chocolate, a fireworks display, and the lighting of lights at King’s Navy Yard Park, Toddy Jones Park, and the Amherstburg Waterfront Festival Plaza. “River Lights has become a cherished tradition in Amherstburg, bringing our community together and welcoming visitors to experience the holiday season,” said outgoing Mayor Michael Prue. “As we celebrate 20 years of this festival, we’re grateful to Enbridge for its generous contribution for opening night. This support will help make the anniversary celebration memorable for residents and visitors alike.”
