John Fogerty returns to Caesar Windsor this summer

Caesars Windsor is set to welcome back Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee John Fogerty this summer to the Rose City.

On Monday, the local entertainment giant announced the legendary rocker would bring The Legacy Tour to The Colosseum on August 20.

Fogerty helped bring Creedence Clearwater Revival and its swamp rock and roots rock sound to the masses, exploding onto the music scene in 1968 and being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1993.

The distinctive sound incorporated blues, country, and rockability out of El Cerrito, California before becoming American and global rock icons.

Most recently, Fogerty released the Legacy: The Creedence Clearwater Revival Year (John’s Version) album, which features new recordings of classic songs written by Fogerty.

Tickets for the Windsor show go sale Friday at 10 a.m. available at the Caesars Windsor or Ticketmaster websites. Tickets can also be bought at the Caesars Windsor Box Office on Friday, Saturday, and Show Days from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.
