Shawn Evon has pleaded not guilty to a single charge of possession for the purpose of trafficking. A jury is hearing evidence from nine witnesses this week. An officer showed the jury dozens of images Tuesday from inside a LaSalle home. In addition to showing small bags of cocaine, the police also observed live marijuana plants inside and outside the home along with tools used to process cannabis. Justice Brian Dube reminded the jury Evon had a licence to grow marijuana at the time so none of those items were seized by police. The trial will continue Wednesday.
