Police in Leamington have charged a 35-year-old Kingsville man with impaired driving-related offences after a traffic stop in the early hours of Saturday morning. Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) report around 2:25 a.m. on May 10, officers stopped a car on Talbot St. W near Erie St. S in Leamington. OPP report the stop led to several offences tied to impaired driving: The accused was hit with an immediate 90-day driver’s licence suspension as well as a seven-day vehicle impoundment. OPP urge the community to report potentially impaired drivers to law enforcement by calling 911, to help maintain road safety.
