According to GasWizard.ca, regular gas is forecast to jump six cents to 170.9 cents per litre on Saturday. Premium is also expected to increase to 200.9 cents per litre, while diesel could climb another 10 cents to 225.9 cents per litre. The increases come after a week of sharp ups and downs at the pump. Experts say the volatility is being driven by global factors — particularly uncertainty tied to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East — rather than any local supply issues. With markets reacting quickly to geopolitical developments, analysts warn drivers could continue to see frequent price swings in the days ahead.
