A man has died following a single-vehicle ATV crash in northwestern New Brunswick. The crash happened just after 8 p.m. Saturday on Lavoie Road in Rivière-Verte. According to Saint-Léonard RCMP, the crash is believed to have happened when the driver lost control of the ATV while navigating a curve. He then crashed into the ditch and came to a stop in a wooded area. The driver, a 58-year-old man from Saint-André, was rushed to hospital where he later died as a result of his injuries, said police. No one else was on the ATV with him at the time. Police said a collision reconstructionist is assisting with the investigation. Rivière-Verte is located approximately 15 kilometres southeast of Edmundston.
