A 29-year-old man from Moncton has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with a homicide last week. James Hannah was arrested on Tuesday and appeared in Moncton provincial court the same day, according to police. Police responded to a report of a seriously injured man on St. George Street in the downtown area around 11:50 p.m. on Wednesday. They found Zachary Pollock, 34, in the parking lot. He was taken to hospital with critical injuries and later died. Police have not yet revealed the cause of Pollock’s death. Hannah was remanded into custody pending a future court appearance.
