A Cape Breton man is facing more sex trafficking charges after additional alleged victims came forward to police. The RCMP executed a search warrant at a home in West Bay, N.S., in June as part of an investigation that began over a year ago. Two men and a woman were arrested at the home. Police say they seized significant evidence supporting human trafficking, drug trafficking and firearms offences. At the time, 63-year-old Hubert Alexander Matthews of West Bay Centre was charged with: The RCMP says more alleged victims came forward and, on July 23, Matthews was charged with two additional counts of trafficking in persons and two additional counts of material benefit from sexual services.
