A man threatened cashiers at a Sobeys in Bedford, N.S., and fled with a quantity of money on Friday, police say. He allegedly walked into the store located at 966 Bedford Hwy. and threatened staff with a handgun around 6:35 p.m., demanding they give him money. Halifax Regional Police says the suspect fled on foot with the money. Officers looked in the area but couldn’t find him. No one was reported as injured. Police describe the suspect as a white man with a medium build. They say he wore a grey zip-up hoodie, dark pants, blue sneakers with white soles, a black mask and black sunglasses.
