Ferry crossings between Nova Scotia and Maine have been cancelled Wednesday due to a round of wet weather. The following sailings of The Cat have been cancelled: Bay Ferries says winds and sea conditions are “in excess of our limits for safe docking of the vessel and passenger comfort.” The following sailings for Thursday also have an advisory in place: “Customer susceptible to motion sickness should be prepared with appropriate medication to make the crossing more comfortable,” reads an online advisory. Northumberland Ferries says high winds in the Northumberland Strait on Wednesday may result in delays or cancellations for the Prince Edward Island-Nova Scotia ferry.
