A section of a busy road in the Bayer’s Lake area of Halifax is closed due to a structure fire. The fire was first reported at a recycling facility in the 170-block of Chain Lake Drive just after 10 a.m. Monday. Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency says bales of paper and cardboard caught fire. No injuries were reported. Chain Lake Drive between Otter Lake Court and Washmill Lake Drive is currently closed to traffic.
