Driver failed to remain on scene after colliding with e-bike: OPP

Police are looking for a suspect who allegedly failed to remain at the scene of a crash involving an e-bike.

On Monday between the hours of 9 and 9:20 p.m. in Midland, OPP says it responded to the crash at the intersection of William Street and Coral Springs Lane.

Police say the e-bike and a passenger vehicle were both going northbound on William Street when the two collided.

The driver of the vehicle fled, while the e-bike rider had minor injuries that paramedics assessed on scene, according to police.

Police gathered debris from the scene, including a small back mirror cover they believe came off the passenger vehicle.

Investigators are looking for anyone who might have been in the area when the crash happened or has dash cam footage.
