Provincial police say they are looking for a suspect after a robbery in Orillia. Police say it happened around 7 a.m. on Aug. 21 in the Elgin Street and Peter Street area in Orillia. According to Orillia OPP, a weapon was used to strike a youth in what is believed to be a targeted attack. However, police say the suspect remains otherwise unidentified, leading OPP to turn to the public for help. Police say there is no threat to the public, but anyone with information of the incident is asked to contact OPP or Crime Stoppers. CTV News has reached out to OPP to seek more clarification on what kind of weapon was used and what items were stolen.
