A motorcyclist is facing a stunt driving charge after police say they were caught speeding on Highway 26 near Collingwood. Provincial police say officers spotted the motorcycle travelling at 207 kilometres an hour in a 90 km/h zone while conducting traffic enforcement. The rider was charged with stunt driving under Ontario’s Highway Traffic Act. Police say they also received an immediate 30-day driver’s licence suspension and a 14-day vehicle impoundment. Under Ontario law, drivers caught travelling 50 km/h or more over the speed limit can face stunt driving charges, along with roadside penalties and additional fines upon conviction.
