Residents can undoubtedly feel the change in seasons as single digit temperatures have arrived in Barrie. Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) says the morning started at a brisk 6 C. The weather will otherwise be uneventful, as ECCC predicts a mainly sunny day. Residents can, however, expect an easterly wind during the daytime hours, gusting between 20 and 40 km/h ECCC warns. Toward the end of the night, temperatures will drop to an overall low of 8 C. Wednesday’s UV Index is five, or moderate.
