The unsettled conditions will continue across central and southern Alberta on Friday with below seasonal temperatures, stronger northwest wind, widespread cloud cover, scattered showers and possible thunderstorms. Starting Saturday a ridge of high pressure from the Pacific basin will become the main weather-maker for B.C. and Alberta, introducing more stability and warmer temperatures. The daytime highs from Sunday to Tuesday will sit in the low- to mid-20s in Calgary, but another pattern change will initiate later on Tuesday. Persistent rainfall with some embedded thunderstorms will return Tuesday to southern Alberta and continue off and on for most of next week. Temperatures will also fall across the region. Starting Wednesday, daytime highs in Calgary will peak in the mid-teens for at least a week. June is typically the wettest month of the year for Calgary, with the city recording about 25 per cent of its annual moisture in those 30-days.
