Cavalry FC surged in the second half, using three straight goals to propel them past Halifax Wanderers FC 3-1. The win bolstered Cavalry’s lead over second-place Forge FC to four points. It extended Cavalry’s unbeaten streak to seven with six victories. Following a scoreless first half, Cavalry’s Nathaniel Edwards scored two and a half minutes in to give Cavalry a 1-0 lead. That was followed in the 64th minute by a goal from striker Tobias Warschewski to make it 2-0 Cavalry. A little more than 10 minutes later, Sergio Camargo found himself alone in front and took advantage, making it 3-0. Isiah Johnston converted a penalty kick in the 87th minute to make the final 3-1. Right after that, 16-year-old Kacper Plocinski made his professional debut for Cavalry. Next up for Cavalry: they travel to Vancouver Island to take on Pacific FC next Sunday.
