A major gas leak shut down a section of Macleod Trail Thursday afternoon between 18th and 25th Avenue S.E. It happened at about 2 p.m. Access to Stampede Park and the BMO Centre was restricted and C Train service between the Victoria Park and Erlton stations was also suspended. Emergency crews located and sealed the leak. Roads reopened and LRT service resumed about two hours later. No injuries were reported.
