A Calgary woman was surprised to learn she had picked up a furry freeloader after bringing her Lexus into the shop over the weekend. Preeti Rakhrashe brought her vehicle into the Royal Oak Lexus dealership after she heard a cat somewhere inside. When technicians put the car up on a hoist, they found a female kitten hiding in the undercarriage. The kitten was quickly captured, boxed up and given food and water. Since it didn’t have any collar or microchip, it was adopted by one of the technicians. It’s not known how long the animal was inside the vehicle, but Rakhrashe said she first started hearing it on Saturday.
