Residents in Beiseker are being warned to prepare for disrupted water service on Monday. The Village of Beiseker issued a statement Friday morning, saying, “A water break has been detected and can only by repaired Monday, Aug. 17.” It added that as a result, it is very likely there will be water service disruption affecting residents on Eighth Street. Residents are encouraged to fill containers with water on Sunday night in anticipation of the possible disruption. Officials say if water service is shut off in a specific area, residents should anticipate a Boil Water Advisory once service gets restored. CTV News has reached out to the Village of Beiseker for comment. Beiseker is about 70 kilometres northeast of Calgary.
