Heavy rain in parts of southeastern Saskatchewan have led to rainfall warnings being issued by Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC.) Yellow-level warnings have been issued for the Rural Municipality (RM) of Mount Pleasant including Carnduff, and the RM of Argyle including Gainsborough and Carievale. The warning has been continued for the RM of Antler including Redvers, Antler and Wauchope. Rain is expected to continue through Friday evening. Total projected rainfall for the area could reach 50-70 millimetres (mm). Surrounding areas are expected to see 20-50 mm. ECCC warns travel delays are possible with the risk of water pooling on roads. Drivers are advised to allow extra time for travel, and not to drive through flooded roadways.
