Guelph Police have arrested a man who took off all his clothes in front of children. The incident happened Sunday morning at the splash pad in front of city hall. Officers were told children were playing in the area when the man stripped down. The 41-year-old from Toronto was charged with committing an indecent act. He was released from custody with one condition – he was not allowed to visit local splash pads. Police said bylaw officers later spotted the man at the same location and learned he had stolen a bottle of alcohol from a downtown store. The man was also charged with theft under $5,000 and failing to comply with an undertaking. Second splash pad incident A similar incident was reported at the same splash pad on Aug. 31. Police said a man took off his shirt, sat down in front of the play area and was seen touching himself. His hands were allegedly inside his pants while he watched two parents with their young daughter. The man left after he was confronted by the girl’s father. Police said the 51-year-old from Guelph was charged with committing an indecent act in a public place and two counts of breaching a probation order.
