London Fire respond to a structural fire in London after multiple 911 callers reported black smoke in the area. Fire crews responded to 900 block of Lorne Avenue. On arrival a working fire in a home was confirmed, crews quickly deployed a hose line, conducted a primary and secondary search and are checking for extension. It is reported the fire started in the rear deck area and there is extensive damage to rear of the house. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined. Everyone had gotten out of the house by the time fire crews arrived. No injuries are reported at this time. The fire is under control, crews are still working to fully stop the fire. Lorne Ave is a narrow street. Fire crews say to avoid the area to allow them to work safely.
