The first official day of fall is bringing plenty of sunshine and mild temperatures to the London area on Wednesday. CTV meteorologist Julie Atchison says the autumnal equinox arrived Tuesday evening at 8:05 p.m., marking the start of the new season. Sunshine is expected throughout the day, with a high of 19 C and breezy conditions as winds move in from the east. “Picture-perfect weather for this time of year,” Atchison said. The sunny conditions are expected to continue through the rest of the week and into the weekend, with sunshine forecast Thursday through Monday and possibly into Tuesday. Daytime highs are expected to range from 21 to 23 C, with cooler temperatures overnight. Atchison says the region is in for “gorgeous conditions right through the weekend.”
