A young teen and another suspect have been arrested after a jewelry store robbery, followed by a police chase and hit-and-run. Police say a 911 call around 2:30 p.m. reported a robbery at a jewelry store at the Galeries d’Anjou. The suspects then fled in a vehicle and collided with another car at the intersection of Galeries d’Anjou Boulevard and Jarry Street. The suspects then abandoned the vehicle at Neuville Avenue and de la Pleiade Street. The suspects abandoned a bag, which police recovered and found jewelry inside. Two suspects were arrested, including a 14-year-old boy. The SPVM did not have details on the other suspect. A crime scene was established and the investigation is ongoing.
