Calgary police say one man was able to escape with just minor injuries after his leg became stuck between a CTrain and the station platform on Thursday. The incident happened at the Eighth Street S.W. station at 2 p.m. Police didn’t immediately release details as to how the man’s leg became stuck, but said he was able to remove it “quickly.” He was then taken to hospital for medical treatment. The incident caused disruptions to some CTrain services as it forced the temporary closure of the Eighth Street station.
