A man is in a critical condition following a road accident that occurred on Tuesday at around 4:30 p.m. in Saint-Alfred, in the Beauce region. The 88-year-old driver of the three-wheeled motorbike is believed not to have seen a stationary vehicle on Route 108. According to initial reports from the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), while attempting to swerve to avoid it at the last minute, he veered off the road and collided with an hydro pole. He was taken to hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries. SQ investigators were sent to examine the scene. The Ministry of Transport also attended the scene.
