Ontario Provincial Police charged a driver with impaired following a traffic complaint on Highway 69 Wednesday. Police said in a news release Oct. 15 that officers received a report of a vehicle travelling erratically on the highway in Burwash Township after 3 p.m. “Officers located the vehicle and arrested the driver for impaired operation,” police said. The 37-year-old driver from Little Current is scheduled to appear in a Sudbury court Dec. 2. Their driver’s licence was suspended and the vehicle was impounded for seven days. Police ask anyone who suspects an impaired driver to call 911 immediately.
