A man was taken to the hospital via emergency run following a stabbing near the Toronto waterfront on Saturday evening, as the hunt is on for a suspect. Toronto police say the incident happened near Queens Quay West and Dan Leckie Way, just west of Bathurst Street. They say they were called to that area just before 7:30 p.m. for reports of a stabbing. There, officers found an adult male victim who had been stabbed. Toronto Paramedic Service say the stabbing occurred closer to Lower Spadina Avenue, confirming they transported one patient to the hospital with serious, but non-life threatening, injuries. The suspect fled the area before police arrival. He is described as a brown male, standing five-foot-four with a skinny build, and wore a blue shirt and blue jeans.
