LaSalle police say a suspect was arrested within minutes after a stabbing in the 2300 block of Sandwich West Parkway. Officers responded to the incident on Aug. 21 and found a victim with a non-life-threatening hand injury. Police quickly obtained a suspect description and location, leading to an arrest without incident. The accused was later released on bail the same day through the court process. Police say the stabbing was an isolated incident and there is no ongoing risk to public safety.
