A 35-year-old woman died and three teenage girls were injured and transported to a hospital after a car collision Friday night in Laval, police said. Laval police said the crash occurred around 10 p.m. when the driver lost control of her vehicle and hit a tree on Saint-Martin Boulevard West in Sainte-Dorothée. Laval police said one of the teenage girls was the daughter of the victim, while the other two were friends of her daughter. The 35-year-old woman was transported to a hospital, where she later died. The three teenage girls were transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
