Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries (MBLL) has removed all remaining U.S. alcohol from Liquor Mart shelves. The Crown corporation confirmed the news in a statement on Friday, saying it is working to determine the “appropriate handling of that inventory.” The products were first taken out of Liquor Marts in February 2025 in response to U.S. President Donald Trump’s tariffs. The alcohol was then brought back at the end of last year to sell off existing stock. Revenue from these sales went to Manitoba charities. A spokesperson for MBLL said the company is currently working through the logistics of how to remove the U.S. products from its 64 stores, adding that they can’t provide any information on how much American booze they have in stock.
