Fight between ‘groups of men’ in Surrey sends 6 to hospital: police

Six people were sent to hospital after a fight in Surrey, B.C., on May 12, 2026.

A brawl at a Surrey home Tuesday evening ended with six men in hospital and two in custody, according to authorities.

Officers were called to the residence near the intersection of 133 Street and 89 Avenue around 8:30 p.m. for reports “two groups of men were allegedly fighting,” the Surrey Police Service said in a statement.

“SPS Frontline officers arrived and located six males with varying injuries. All six were transported to hospital with reportedly non-life-threatening injuries,” the statement said.

“The investigation led to two of the males being arrested and they were taken into custody without incident.”

Four of the injured men have since been released from hospital, while two are continuing to be treated for serious injuries. The men who were taken into custody have since been released with conditions, the SPS said.
