Water spouting into the air in North Vancouver, crews in attendance

Crews were in attendance in North Vancouver as water shot into the air at the intersection of Capilano Road and Marine Drive.

Water began spewing into the air in North Vancouver on Friday morning due to an apparent water main break.

Video from the scene showed the spout shooting higher than the road signs above at the intersection of Marine Drive and Capilano Road.

Traffic and pedestrians didn’t appear to be disrupted by the surprise water feature, as the spout was isolated at the corner of the intersection, behind cones and crews in attendance.

CTV News has contacted the District of North Vancouver for more information on the matter.
