Drivers on the E.C. Row Expressway can expect rolling lane closures over the next several weeks as the city begins its annual grass-cutting program. Parks staff are scheduled to begin on Saturday Aug. 8, with the work expected to take about three weeks to complete. The city says crews will be working daily from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting. Grass cutting will begin in the centre median between Huron Church Road and Banwell Road before moving to roadside shoulders and on- and off-ramps. The city says rolling lane closures will be required while work is underway, but crews will try to minimize disruptions during peak traffic periods. Motorists are being asked to slow down and use caution when travelling through work zones.
