A 35-year-old Windsor man has been charged with impaired driving following a two-vehicle collision involving parked cars in the city’s east end. Windsor police say officers responded to a reported crash in the 1900 block of Jefferson Street shortly after 9 p.m. on Oct. 29. Investigators say the driver was operating the vehicle erratically before hitting a parked vehicle, which was pushed into a second parked vehicle. Police say the driver showed signs of impairment and placed him under arrest. Following a breath test at police headquarters, officers allege the man’s blood-alcohol level measured three times higher than the legal limit. The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Windsor Police Traffic Enforcement Unit.
