An e-bike crackdown continues in LaSalle. In a social media post, LaSalle police said they received numerous complaints about e-bikes over the summer. As a result of those complaints and proactive patrols, officers laid 12 charges against riders or their parents. Police also issued 42 cautions and spoke with 138 youths and their parents about e-bike regulations and safe operation. LaSalle police said keeping young riders, the community and local roadways safe remains a priority.
