Thirty-one overdoses reported over a seven-day period last week have prompted another alert from public health officials in Windsor-Essex. The Community Opioid and Substance Strategy says the overdoses were reported at hospital emergency departments between Oct. 4 and Oct. 10. According to the organization, 17 of the overdoses involved fentanyl. The latest alert follows a report of 30 overdoses recorded the previous week.
