A youth is in hospital with life-threatening injuries following a collision in Essex. Ontario Provincial Police say a vehicle and an e-bike collided on Maidstone Avenue East at Cameron Avenue shortly after 9 p.m. Wednesday. Investigators say the cyclist, a 14-year-old, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle was not injured. Maidstone Avenue was closed for several hours while police investigated but has since reopened.
