Winnipeg police have issued a silver alert for a missing 84-year-old man. Jose “Joe” Salazar was last seen Saturday at approximately 3:30 p.m. in the area of Ness Avenue and St. James Street. A silver alert is activated when a vulnerable adult is reported missing. Salazar is described as five-foot-five in height with a thin build. He has grey hair, brown eyes, and a full beard and moustache. Police say Salazar may have recently frequented St. James, Central Park and Downtown. Anyone with information on Salazar’s location is asked to call 204-986-6250.
